MapDrift
MapDrift is a web + mobile app (traditional + AI) that monitors mobile robot navigation health by detecting “map drift” and localization degradation over time. It ingests ROS/ROS2 bag snippets or live telemetry (pose, AMCL/SLAM confidence, lidar match scores, wheel slip indicators) and flags when a site’s map no longer matches reality—after layout changes, seasonal clutter, reflective surfaces, or worn wheels. Instead of generic alerts, it produces actionable diagnostics: which zones are failing, what sensor signals correlate, and what to do next (re-map, adjust costmaps, clean lidar, recalibrate odom, add fiducials). It also generates a simple “navigation reliability score” per robot and per facility, so ops teams can prioritize fixes before downtime becomes visible. This is not a fleet manager; it’s a focused reliability layer that plugs into existing stacks and helps teams stop firefighting navigation issues.
