MapGuard

MapGuard is a mobile + desktop app (traditional + AI) that reviews ECU calibration files and datalogs to flag high-risk settings before you flash. Users import common tune formats (where legally permitted) plus OBD-II/CAN logs, then run a “pre-flight” check that highlights dangerous patterns: excessive ignition advance under knock, lean AFR under load, overboost without fuel/torque support, unsafe IAT/ECT compensation, and inconsistent torque limits. The app outputs a plain-language risk report, suggested safe ranges, and a checklist to verify sensors (wideband, MAP, fuel pressure) before another pull. It also tracks revisions so you can compare changes across map versions and correlate them with knock, trims, and temps. This won’t magically make power; it’s a guardrail to reduce expensive mistakes and help hobbyists communicate clearly with tuners.
