MarbleMatch

MarbleMatch is a mobile + web app for high-end homeowners, designers, and fabricators to source and verify premium stone (marble, quartzite, onyx) with less risk. Users scan or upload slab photos from a showroom/warehouse; the app builds a visual fingerprint, then matches it against participating supplier inventories to find the same slab (or the closest true match) and flags lookalike substitutions. It also generates a simple “chain-of-custody” record: slab ID, photos, timestamps, and sign-offs from supplier, fabricator, and installer. This is not magic: it won’t work without supplier participation and decent photos, and it won’t replace in-person inspection. But it can reduce expensive mistakes, bait-and-switch disputes, and weeks of back-and-forth when a project demands a specific veining pattern and bookmatch outcome.
