MarginMentor

MarginMentor is a mobile + web app for small businesses that turns messy costs into clear unit economics. Users snap receipts, import bank/Stripe/Shopify data, and assign costs to products or services (materials, labor time, delivery, platform fees, refunds, shrink). The app then calculates contribution margin, break-even volume, and “what-if” scenarios for price changes, discounts, bundles, and supplier increases. It flags silent margin killers like underpriced add-ons, high-return SKUs, and delivery zones that lose money. It also produces simple, lender-ready reports and a weekly “margin check” summary so owners don’t need a finance degree. This is microeconomics made practical: understand marginal cost, elasticity proxies (from sales history), and optimal pricing ranges without pretending to be a full ERP. It’s not magic—data quality matters—but it’s far more actionable than generic bookkeeping.
