MarginPilot

MarginPilot is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for service businesses that are growing past 5–50 clients and losing money to delivery sprawl. It connects your project tool, time tracking, and invoicing to calculate real-time margin per client, project, and role—then flags the exact drivers (scope creep, underpriced retainers, too many meetings, senior hours on junior work). It also enforces lightweight “delivery guardrails”: required change orders when estimates are exceeded, auto-generated weekly client status updates from activity, and a capacity forecast that shows when you’ll miss deadlines or need to hire/contract. This is not another PM tool; it’s a profitability and operational control layer that sits on top of what you already use. The goal is simple: keep quality high while preventing growth from turning into hidden losses.
