MarshWatch
MarshWatch is a web + mobile app for wetland managers to track marsh health with repeatable, defensible metrics. Users draw a site boundary, then the app automatically pulls satellite imagery and weather/tide context to generate simple indicators like vegetation greenness trends, surface water extent, drought/flood anomalies, and change hotspots. Field teams can add geotagged photos and quick habitat notes to ground-truth what the satellite sees. The output is a clean dashboard and exportable report for grant reporting, compliance documentation, and internal decision-making. This is an AI-assisted app (for change detection, anomaly flagging, and photo classification) but it stays conservative: it shows confidence, sources, and raw layers so users can verify. It’s built for organizations that need “good enough, defensible, fast” monitoring, not academic perfection.
