MasjidIftar

MasjidIftar is a mobile + web app that helps Muslims quickly find nearby masjid and community iftar events with verified details: time, address, capacity, men/women/family seating, accessibility, parking, and whether registration is required. The core problem today is fragmentation—events are scattered across flyers, WhatsApp groups, Instagram posts, and word-of-mouth, so people miss out or show up to full venues. MasjidIftar solves this with a simple map, filters, and one-tap navigation. Masjids and organizers get a lightweight admin portal to post events, set limits, and push updates (e.g., “full,” “moved to hall B,” “bring a dish”). It’s not glamorous, but it’s practical: it reduces wasted trips and helps communities serve more people efficiently during Ramadan.
