MasjidShield

MasjidShield is a web + mobile app that helps mosques verify official fundraising links, donation collectors, and announcements—then publish a single “source of truth” page the community can trust. Many communities get hit by WhatsApp/Telegram impersonation scams, fake GoFundMe pages, and spoofed bank details, and mosques often react too late. MasjidShield lets an admin register verified payment methods, approved campaigns, and authorized contacts, then generates a shareable verification link and QR code for posters, Friday announcements, and social media. Community members can quickly check if a link, phone number, or bank account is legitimate and report suspicious messages. The app also provides incident logging, takedown request templates, and basic analytics (what scams are being reported, where they spread). It’s not glamorous, but it addresses a real, recurring trust problem that mosques struggle to manage consistently.
