MastitisSnap

MastitisSnap is a mobile + web AI-assisted livestock health app focused on early mastitis detection and treatment tracking for dairy herds. Farm staff snap a photo of a CMT paddle result or milk strip cup, optionally log quarter, cow ID, and symptoms, and the app standardizes scoring to reduce “it looks bad” subjectivity across shifts. It then recommends the farm’s own protocol (not generic vet advice) and starts a treatment timer with milk-withhold and meat-withhold reminders. A simple dashboard highlights repeat offenders, high-SCC risk cows, and missed follow-ups, and exports clean records for audits and milk quality programs. This is not a miracle diagnostic tool: it’s a workflow and compliance product that makes detection more consistent, reduces missed cases, and prevents costly withholding mistakes. It only works if farms actually use it daily, so the UI must be fast and offline-capable.
