MatchAudit

MatchAudit is a web app (with optional desktop agent) that continuously audits Master Patient Index match quality across EHRs and downstream systems. Instead of trying to replace your MPI, it samples real-world identity events (registrations, ADT, lab orders, referrals), scores match confidence, and flags high-risk patterns like over-merging, under-linking, duplicate clusters, and demographic drift. It generates defensible reports for compliance, patient safety, and revenue-cycle teams, including “why this match is risky” explanations and a prioritized worklist for HIM/identity staff. An AI-assisted rules engine suggests likely root causes (front-desk workflow, interface mapping, specific facilities, specific registrars) and recommends targeted fixes. Realistically, it won’t magically clean your data; it will make problems measurable, actionable, and harder to ignore, which is what most hospitals actually need to get budget and behavior change.
