MathMunch

MathMunch is a mobile + tablet app for ages 3–6 that builds early numeracy through 2–4 minute “snack” activities: subitizing (seeing quantities), counting with one-to-one correspondence, comparing more/less, simple patterns, and number bonds up to 10. It avoids noisy, ad-like game design and instead uses calm visuals, clear voice prompts, and quick parent/teacher check-ins. A lightweight AI layer adapts difficulty based on error patterns (e.g., consistently miscounting past 6, confusing 9/6, or struggling with “how many left” prompts) and recommends a daily micro-path. Offline mode is supported for classrooms and travel. Progress is shown as concrete skills mastered (not meaningless levels), with printable practice cards for reinforcement. Monetization is straightforward: a low-cost subscription for families and a small classroom license for educators.
