MatPass is a web + mobile app that helps procurement teams verify whether “sustainable material” claims are real. Users upload a supplier spec sheet, SDS, or certification PDF, and MatPass extracts key fields (recycled content, bio-based %, VOCs, chain-of-custody, standards like FSC/PEFC/GRS) and flags missing or inconsistent evidence. It generates a simple risk score and a one-page audit-ready summary you can attach to purchase approvals. The app also maintains a private materials library for your company, tracking versions, expiration dates of certificates, and approved alternates. This is an AI-assisted workflow tool, not a magical truth machine: it reduces time spent chasing documents and catches obvious greenwashing patterns, but it still requires human sign-off. Monetization is per-seat plus supplier portal add-ons.
