MealMerge

MealMerge is a mobile + web app that turns family dinner planning into a quick, structured vote instead of a group-text fight. Each household member sets simple preferences (likes, hard no’s, allergies, budget sensitivity, time limits). Once a week, the app proposes a short menu slate based on your constraints and what’s realistically cookable on weeknights. Everyone taps approve/veto with a required reason (e.g., “too spicy,” “had it yesterday”), and the app locks a plan that maximizes overall satisfaction while avoiding repeats. It generates a consolidated grocery list by store aisle and supports “swap” options when an ingredient is missing or overpriced. It’s not trying to be a full recipe universe; it’s a decision engine and coordination tool. Optional AI helps summarize feedback and suggest substitutions, but the core value works without it.
