MealProof
MealProof is a mobile + web app (traditional + AI) for people in eating-disorder recovery who need structured, low-friction accountability without turning tracking into obsession. Instead of calories, it focuses on clinician-approved check-ins: meal timing, adequacy prompts, hunger/fullness notes, emotions, and coping skills used. Users can log via quick taps or a photo; an on-device AI model generates a neutral description (e.g., “sandwich, fruit, drink”) and flags patterns like long restriction gaps, frequent skipped snacks, or post-meal distress. A therapist/dietitian portal lets providers set individualized meal-plan goals, review weekly summaries, and send short, templated nudges. The app includes crisis resources, safety planning, and “red flag” escalation rules that encourage contacting a clinician—not replacing one. This is not a cure; it’s a compliance and communication tool designed to reduce relapse risk between sessions.
