MealProof

MealProof is a mobile app (with a simple web dashboard) that helps parents stop guessing what their kids actually eat. You snap a quick “before and after” photo of the plate; the app estimates what was consumed, logs it, and turns it into a weekly “safe foods” and “refused foods” report per child. It then suggests realistic meal rotations based on your pantry, time available, allergies, and budget—no aspirational recipes that take 45 minutes. It also supports daycare/school handoffs: caregivers can log meals in 10 seconds with photos, so parents aren’t relying on vague notes. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI handles photo-based portion estimation and pattern detection; traditional logic handles scheduling, preferences, and sharing. The goal isn’t perfect nutrition tracking—it’s reducing stress, waste, and repeated mealtime battles with evidence-based routines.
