MeasureMate

MeasureMate helps shoppers avoid the most common kitchen-and-dining shopping mistake: buying items that don’t fit. It’s a mobile app that guides you through quickly capturing cabinet, drawer, shelf, fridge, and countertop dimensions, then saves them as “spaces” (e.g., Under-sink, Top drawer, Pantry shelf 2). When you’re shopping online or in-store, you enter a product’s dimensions (or scan a barcode when available) and the app instantly tells you whether it fits, including clearance rules like door swing, handle protrusion, and stacking height. It also stores a lightweight inventory of key items (bins, organizers, small appliances) so you can avoid duplicates and plan replacements. This is not magic: accuracy depends on your measurements, and it won’t replace professional design tools. But it can cut returns and frustration for everyday shoppers.
