MedCheckIn is a mobile + web remote monitoring app focused on one high-impact problem: medication adherence for seniors and chronic patients living at home. Instead of trying to monitor everything, it uses scheduled check-ins that require simple proof: a short selfie video, optional pill-bottle scan, and a one-tap symptom rating. Caregivers and care teams get an exception-based dashboard: only missed doses, unusual patterns, or repeated “not feeling well” flags trigger alerts. For patients, the experience is intentionally minimal—large buttons, voice prompts, and offline-friendly reminders. For families, it reduces daily anxiety and the time sink of calling to confirm meds. For providers/home-care agencies, it creates audit-friendly adherence logs and configurable escalation rules. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI is used only to verify check-ins and detect anomalies, not to “diagnose.”
