MedDietRx

MedDietRx is a mobile + web AI-assisted medical-diet planner for people who must follow strict nutrition rules (renal, low-FODMAP, celiac, diabetes, heart failure/low sodium). Users select their condition(s), meds, lab ranges (optional), allergies, and budget, then the app generates a weekly meal plan and grocery list with hard nutrient constraints (e.g., sodium, potassium, phosphorus, carbs, fiber). It includes a barcode scanner and a “safe/avoid” score for packaged foods based on the user’s rules, plus simple swap suggestions when something is borderline. The app is intentionally conservative: it won’t pretend to replace a dietitian, and it flags anything uncertain as “verify.” The business model is subscription for consumers, plus a lightweight clinician portal for dietitians to share templates and review adherence summaries. This is not a sexy wellness app; it’s compliance tooling for people who are tired of guessing.
