MedDoseWild

MedDoseWild is a mobile + web app that helps wildlife rehabilitators calculate medication and fluid doses, document treatments, and reduce preventable errors. The core is a species-aware dosing calculator (weight-based, route, concentration, max limits) paired with a simple treatment log that works offline in the clinic and syncs later. It includes configurable protocols (e.g., dehydration correction, analgesia ranges, antibiotic intervals), automatic reminders for re-dosing, and exportable records for veterinarians and regulators. An AI layer can read labels (photo-to-text) and flag common issues like unit mismatches (mg/mL vs mg/L), unsafe ranges, and missing withdrawal/contraindication notes—while still requiring human confirmation. This is not glamorous, but it targets the daily, high-risk workflow where small mistakes harm animals and waste scarce rehab capacity.
