MediCardKid is a mobile app that helps parents store and share a child’s critical medical details in seconds during an emergency. It creates a lock-screen accessible “Emergency Card” with allergies, meds, conditions, weight, pediatrician info, and insurance details, plus a one-tap “call poison control / emergency contacts” panel. Parents can generate time-limited QR codes for babysitters, schools, or relatives so they can access only what’s needed without handing over full phone access. The app also includes a simple first-aid checklist library (non-AI) for common incidents (fever, choking, burns), focused on clear steps and when to seek urgent care. It’s not trying to replace doctors; it’s a practical, fast-access organizer that reduces panic and prevents dangerous omissions when seconds matter.
