MedicareMap
MedicareMap is a web + mobile app that helps near-retirees choose Medicare (A/B, Medigap vs Advantage, Part D) based on their actual doctors, prescriptions, travel habits, and risk tolerance. Users enter medications (or scan labels), preferred pharmacies, and key doctors; the app checks formularies, estimated annual costs, and common coverage pitfalls. It generates a plain-English shortlist with “gotchas” (prior auth, network limits, out-of-area care) and a step-by-step enrollment calendar with deadlines. It also stores a simple “health coverage binder” for spouses/caregivers. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI is used to explain plan documents in readable language and to flag mismatches, but final recommendations are transparent, cite sources, and avoid pretending to be a licensed agent. Monetization is subscription plus optional paid consults with vetted licensed advisors (where legally allowed).
