MediTemp

MediTemp is a mobile + web app that helps patients and caregivers store temperature- and light-sensitive medicines correctly (insulin, biologics, eye drops, antibiotics). Users scan a barcode or search a medication, then get storage rules in plain language: ideal range, allowed excursions, light/humidity warnings, and “discard after” timelines once opened or reconstituted. The app pairs with a low-cost Bluetooth temperature sensor placed in a fridge or travel cooler and logs excursions automatically. When a breach happens, it provides a realistic next step: “likely OK,” “call pharmacy,” or “replace,” with supporting manufacturer/FDA labeling references. It also tracks “out of fridge” timers for injections and generates a simple report users can share with a pharmacist or clinic. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional monitoring plus AI to interpret labeling and generate clear guidance with citations.
