MedPassPro

MedPassPro is a mobile + web app (traditional + AI) that helps nurses run safer medication passes in long-term care and home health. It provides a fast, checklist-driven workflow tied to the MAR, with barcode/QR scanning for patient ID and medication packaging when available. The AI layer flags high-risk situations in plain language (e.g., duplicate therapy, timing conflicts, renal-dose concerns, PRN frequency issues) and prompts a quick “verify” step rather than pretending to replace clinical judgment. It also captures near-miss events in under 20 seconds, turning them into actionable unit-level trends (top error types, time-of-day spikes, frequent interruptions). Realistically, it won’t eliminate errors—staffing and interruptions remain—but it can reduce preventable mistakes and improve documentation consistency without adding much charting burden.
