MedsProof

MedsProof is a mobile app (with an optional clinician web dashboard) that helps people experiencing psychosis safely confirm what medication they’re holding before taking it. Using the phone camera, it scans pill imprints and packaging, cross-checks against a verified medication database, and compares results to the person’s prescribed regimen. If there’s a mismatch (wrong pill, wrong dose, expired, duplicate), it flags it clearly and offers a one-tap “call/pharmacy/clinician” action. It also supports a simple, low-cognitive-load schedule with reminders and a “took/skip” log designed for users who may be suspicious of apps or overwhelmed by complex UIs. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps with image recognition and confidence scoring, but the app is explicit about uncertainty and never claims medical certainty.
