MedTasker

MedTasker is a mobile + web app for families coordinating care for an older adult or chronically ill loved one, focused narrowly on medication adherence and daily care tasks. It creates a shared schedule (meds, vitals, meals, exercises, appointments) and requires a simple “proof of completion” check-in: photo of pill organizer, barcode scan of medication box, or a quick timestamped note. The app escalates when tasks are missed (push/SMS to the next caregiver), logs reasons (out of stock, side effects), and generates a clean weekly report that can be shared with clinicians. It also includes refill reminders and a lightweight “care plan” page so everyone follows the same instructions. This is not a full EHR and won’t pretend to replace medical advice; it’s a coordination tool that reduces confusion, blame, and dangerous gaps in routine care.
