MeetGate

MeetGate is a web app (with Slack/Teams add-ons) that blocks calendar invites unless they meet basic quality rules. It forces an agenda, desired outcome, pre-reads, and a clear owner before a meeting can be scheduled. It also auto-suggests async alternatives (doc + deadline) when the meeting looks like status theater. For accepted meetings, it generates a lightweight brief, assigns prep tasks, and sends reminders that include “what decision will be made” to reduce wasted time. After the meeting, it prompts a 60-second decision log and action items, then posts them back to the team channel. This isn’t trying to replace Google Calendar or Outlook; it sits in front of them as a policy and workflow layer. The product wins by being opinionated, measurable (time saved), and easy to roll out team-by-team without an IT project.
