Meeting Scarcity

Meeting Scarcity is a web and mobile app that treats your calendar like a scarce economic resource instead of an infinite dumping ground. Each team member gets a fixed monthly “meeting budget” in minutes. To book time with someone, requesters must spend from their own budget and justify the meeting with a short template (goal, decision, prep work). The app scores requests using simple rules and optional AI assistance, then auto-accepts, suggests async alternatives, or rejects with a clear explanation. It integrates with Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, and Slack to surface the true cost of meetings in hours and salary dollars per week. Over time, it generates brutal analytics: who wastes time, which recurring meetings produce zero outcomes, and how much headcount is effectively burned in low-value syncs. This is not a feel-good productivity toy; it’s a ruthless constraint system that forces teams to confront the real price of their meeting culture.
