MeetingGloss
MeetingGloss is a meeting companion that turns confusing cross-cultural communication into clear, actionable notes. It listens (with consent) to live calls or in-person conversations, then flags likely misunderstandings: indirect refusals, soft commitments, hedging, sarcasm, or culturally specific politeness strategies. After the meeting, it generates a “Meaning Map” that separates what was said from what was implied, highlights ambiguous phrases (“we’ll try,” “interesting idea”), and suggests neutral follow-up questions to confirm intent. Users can choose cultural context packs (e.g., US/UK, Japan, India, Germany) and company-specific terminology. The app is realistic about accuracy: it shows confidence scores, cites the exact phrases that triggered a flag, and encourages verification rather than pretending to be a mind-reader. It integrates with Zoom/Google Meet and exports to Slack/Notion.
