MeetingMint

MeetingMint is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps residents, journalists, and civic groups follow local government meetings without watching hours of video. It ingests public meeting agendas, minutes, and recordings, then generates a structured summary: motions, votes, speakers, key topics, and clear action items with deadlines. Users can subscribe to specific boards (city council, planning commission, school board), set alerts for topics (zoning, budgets, policing), and share a clean “what happened” page after each meeting. The AI is used for transcription cleanup, speaker segmentation, and summarization, but the product is designed to be verifiable: every claim links back to the exact timestamp and source document. The goal is not “civic engagement vibes,” but reducing the real friction of staying informed and holding officials accountable.
