MeetingsMint

MeetingsMint is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that converts city council, school board, and commission meetings into a clean, searchable public record. It ingests livestreams or uploaded video/audio, generates time-stamped transcripts, and lets users highlight decisions, votes, and key quotes with direct links to the exact moment in the recording. The app also tracks agendas, attachments, and follow-up actions, creating a “what was promised vs. what happened” thread over time. It’s an AI + traditional app: AI handles transcription, speaker diarization, and topic segmentation; traditional workflows handle verification, publishing, and audit logs. The goal is not to replace journalists or clerks, but to make the raw record usable for residents, watchdog groups, and local reporters who don’t have hours to scrub through meetings. Realistically, adoption hinges on covering a few municipalities deeply rather than trying to boil the ocean.
