MeetMint

MeetMint is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps local governments publish meeting records fast and accurately. It ingests audio/video from council, board, and commission meetings, generates a timestamped transcript, and lets staff review, redact, and approve before publishing. The public gets a clean portal to search agendas, motions, votes, and speaker comments by keyword, topic, or district—without digging through 3-hour videos. This is an AI + traditional app: AI accelerates transcription, topic segmentation, and draft summaries, while human review remains mandatory for legal defensibility. The product focuses on small-to-mid municipalities that lack dedicated clerks or modern CMS tools. It integrates with existing agenda PDFs and video hosts, and exports compliant archives for retention. The goal is not “magic transparency,” but reducing staff hours and making records actually usable for residents and reporters.
