MeetShift

MeetShift is a web app (with optional Slack/Google Calendar add-ons) that prevents time-zone mistakes before they happen. Users paste a few participants (email, city, or time zone), and MeetShift generates “safe windows” that respect working hours, weekends, and daylight-saving changes for each person. It highlights risky dates where DST shifts occur, flags ambiguous times, and offers one-click “propose 3 options” messages you can send to attendees. Instead of being yet another world clock, it focuses on the messy edge cases: recurring meetings across DST boundaries, teams with rotating on-call schedules, and clients who insist on “my time.” It also provides a lightweight audit trail (“why this time was chosen”) so coordinators can defend decisions. This is a traditional app with a small AI assist for parsing messy inputs (e.g., “next Tue afternoon in Berlin”).
