MemberMint is a mobile + web app that helps students and membership holders prove eligibility and actually use discounts at checkout without digging through emails, portals, or screenshots. Users connect a school email or membership account, then get a privacy-first “verification token” that can be shared with participating merchants or used to auto-fill discount forms. The app also maintains a clean directory of discounts that are currently working, with user-reported success/failure signals and receipt-based confirmation. It’s not trying to be another coupon app; it focuses on the painful gap between “you qualify” and “the discount applied.” Merchants get a lightweight verification page/API to reduce fraud and support tickets. Realistically, growth depends on merchant adoption and a narrow initial niche (e.g., local businesses near campuses) before expanding to online stores.
