MemeStandup is a web + Slack/Teams companion that runs short, opt-in “comedy breaks” for teams without turning work chat into chaos. Admins set quiet hours, content rules, and a cadence (e.g., twice a week). The app posts a themed prompt ("client call bingo", "release day energy") and lets employees submit memes, captions, or 15-second audio punchlines. Submissions are auto-screened for HR-risk (harassment, protected classes, profanity) and routed to a lightweight moderator queue before posting. Each round ends with anonymous voting and a rotating “host” leaderboard, plus a one-click export of the best bits to an internal highlight reel. It’s designed to be safe for regulated companies, remote teams, and mixed cultures—fun without the career-limiting content. Realistically, it won’t transform culture alone, but it can reliably create small shared moments.
