MemLock
MemLock is a mobile + web app that helps people prepare a practical digital legacy: what to share, with whom, and when. Users create a “digital will” inventory (password manager vault location, crypto keys instructions, cloud storage, subscriptions, devices, important docs) without uploading sensitive credentials directly. Instead, MemLock stores encrypted pointers, recovery steps, and optional encrypted attachments, then releases them via a dead-man’s switch and a human verification flow. Beneficiaries get a guided checklist: cancel services, retrieve photos, access key documents, and locate critical accounts. The app focuses on real-world execution, not sentimental storytelling. It integrates with common providers (Google, Apple, Microsoft, Dropbox) for account export instructions and reminders, and it generates a lawyer-friendly PDF summary. It’s not magic: it can’t bypass provider policies, but it can drastically reduce chaos for families.
