MentorMatchr

MentorMatchr is a web + mobile app that helps schools run peer mentoring programs without spreadsheets and chaos. Students sign up as mentors or mentees, answer a short intake (courses, goals, identity preferences, availability, communication style), and get matched with clear expectations and a lightweight meeting plan. The app schedules sessions, nudges both sides, and logs quick check-ins after each meeting (mood, progress, next steps). Coordinators get a dashboard showing engagement, no-shows, and students who may be slipping, plus the ability to re-match quickly when a pairing fails. It’s a traditional app with a small AI layer: AI suggests better matches and flags at-risk pairings based on attendance and check-in trends. The focus is operational reliability: make mentoring actually happen, not just get announced.
