MerchMargin
MerchMargin is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that gives creators a brutally accurate view of merch profitability by SKU, drop, and channel. Most creators run merch on vibes: they see gross sales from Shopify, but miss refunds, chargebacks, shipping overruns, duties, packaging, print errors, influencer/affiliate cuts, and ad spend. This app connects to Shopify (or WooCommerce), Printful/Printify/Gelato, ShipStation/Shippo, and Stripe/PayPal, then normalizes all costs into a single “true margin” ledger. It flags SKUs that are secretly losing money, predicts cash-flow needs for upcoming drops, and recommends pricing floors based on historical shipping zones and return rates. It also includes a simple “Drop Planner” that estimates units needed to hit a target profit after platform fees and taxes, plus a post-drop report you can share with managers/partners.
This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional integrations and accounting logic, with AI used to categorize messy fees, detect anomalies (e.g., sudden defect spikes), and generate plain-English explanations of what killed margin this week. The goal is not to sell more merch—it’s to stop creators from bleeding money while thinking they’re winning.
