MercyMap
MercyMap is a mobile + web app that helps people translate religious and ethical end-of-life beliefs into practical, legally usable guidance for families and clinicians. It walks users through values (pain relief vs. lucidity, artificial nutrition, DNR/DNI, hospice, palliative sedation, organ donation) and overlays faith-specific considerations (e.g., Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, secular humanist) with citations and “questions to ask your clergy.” The output is a clear, shareable packet: a values statement, conversation prompts, and a clinician-friendly summary to reduce conflict at the bedside. It also supports family invitations, version history, and “in a crisis” quick access. This is an AI + traditional app: AI helps draft plain-language summaries and flags inconsistencies, but users stay in control. It’s not a substitute for legal advice; it’s a structured bridge between belief, family, and care.
