MeshFixer
MeshFixer is a desktop + web app that detects and fixes the boring, failure-prone issues that ruin 3D prints: non-manifold edges, flipped normals, self-intersections, thin walls, holes, and bad STL exports. Users drop in STL/OBJ/3MF, pick their printer/material profile, and get a “printability report” with clear red/yellow/green flags and one-click repairs. It also estimates risk (warping, supports, weak joints) and suggests minimum wall thickness and orientation tweaks. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional geometry processing for deterministic repairs, plus an AI layer that predicts print-failure likelihood from mesh features and past outcomes. The goal isn’t to replace CAD; it’s to stop failed prints, wasted filament/resin, and hours of troubleshooting. Export clean files back to slicers (Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer, Cura) with consistent units and scale.
