MeshMedic

MeshMedic is a mobile + web app that pinpoints why your home network feels slow or unreliable—without requiring you to be an IT person. It runs guided tests (latency, jitter, packet loss, DNS, bufferbloat) and correlates them with device behavior (streaming, gaming, video calls), Wi‑Fi band/channel conditions, and router/mesh telemetry where available. The app then outputs a short, prioritized “fix list” (e.g., move node X, change channel, disable a noisy device, replace a bad cable, enable SQM, split SSIDs) with plain-language explanations. It also provides a “proof mode” report you can send to your ISP or landlord showing time-stamped outages and performance degradation. Realistically, it won’t magically fix bad ISP lines or cheap routers—but it will make the problem obvious and actionable, saving hours of guessing and support calls.
