MeshRoam

MeshRoam is a mobile + web app that diagnoses why devices cling to the wrong node or drop during roaming in home and small-office mesh Wi‑Fi. It runs a guided “walk test” while streaming lightweight telemetry (RSSI, PHY rates, band, channel width, BSSID changes, latency/jitter) and correlates it with AP steering events (802.11k/v/r when available). The app then produces a plain-English report: where roaming fails, whether band steering is too aggressive, if minimum RSSI thresholds are mis-set, or if backhaul is the real bottleneck. It also generates vendor-specific recommended settings for popular systems (eero, Orbi, Deco, UniFi) without pretending it can magically control locked-down gear. This is a traditional app with a small AI component for pattern classification and recommendation ranking, not a “chatbot.”
