MeshSentry
MeshSentry is a mobile + web app for people who run real-world mesh networks (community Wi‑Fi, rural co-ops, event networks, disaster-response kits). It continuously measures node health, backhaul quality, and client experience using lightweight agents on routers (OpenWrt-friendly) and optional phone-based walk tests. It turns messy RF and routing data into a simple “what’s broken, where, and why” dashboard: failing nodes, bad links, noisy channels, power instability, and misconfigured routing. It also generates shareable uptime and coverage reports for funders, municipalities, and internal ops. This is not a consumer ‘mesh Wi‑Fi’ companion app; it’s an operations tool for networks that don’t have enterprise budgets. Realistically, adoption hinges on painless setup and working across mixed hardware—otherwise operators will stick to scripts, Grafana, or vendor tools.
