MeshTriage

MeshTriage is a mobile + web app for diagnosing home and small-office mesh Wi‑Fi problems with guided, repeatable tests. Users run a “walk test” that measures RSSI, latency, jitter, packet loss, and roaming behavior between nodes, then the app generates a clear map of where performance collapses and why (bad node placement, noisy channel, backhaul bottleneck, sticky clients, or a single failing node). It also provides step-by-step fixes: move node X by 2–3 meters, switch to wired backhaul, change channel width, or isolate a problematic IoT device. An AI assistant explains results in plain language and produces a shareable report for ISPs/MSPs or landlords. This is not a router controller; it’s a vendor-agnostic “diagnostic layer” that works even when mesh systems hide advanced metrics, using active tests plus lightweight local network discovery.
