MetaMender
MetaMender is a web app (with optional browser extension) that audits and repairs self-publishing metadata for Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, Kobo, and Apple Books. It flags title/subtitle keyword stuffing, category mismatches, weak BISAC choices, inconsistent series naming, and back-cover copy that doesn’t match genre signals. You paste your current listing text (or import via CSV), and the app generates a prioritized “fix list” with before/after suggestions, character-count compliance, and a simple A/B plan for what to change first. It also tracks your changes over time and correlates them to rank/traffic proxies you can manually input (since platforms limit reliable APIs). This is an AI-assisted app, but it’s built around checklists and constraints so it doesn’t hallucinate marketing fluff. The goal is fewer silent listing mistakes and faster iteration on store-facing copy.
