MeterMatch

MeterMatch is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps multi-site businesses benchmark energy consumption and efficiency using real utility data, weather normalization, and operational context. Users upload bills or connect utility accounts, map meters to sites, and tag key drivers (hours, occupancy, production proxy). The app produces simple peer benchmarks (within your own portfolio and against curated industry datasets), flags outliers, and estimates savings ranges tied to specific actions (schedule fixes, setpoint drift, baseload reduction). It’s an AI-assisted app: AI extracts data from messy PDFs, suggests meter/site mappings, and drafts plain-language reports, but the benchmarking math is transparent and auditable. Realistically, the hard part is data quality and integrations; the product wins by making “good enough” benchmarking fast, defensible, and repeatable for teams that don’t have energy analysts.
