MethodMesh

MethodMesh is a web app (with optional desktop plugin later) that helps interdisciplinary teams align on research methods, assumptions, and evidence standards. Users upload or paste a paper, protocol, or grant draft; the app extracts key methodological elements (design, measures, validity threats, statistical approach, data requirements) and rewrites them in discipline-neutral language. It then generates a “method compatibility map” showing where collaborators are likely to disagree (e.g., causal inference expectations, acceptable proxies, sample size norms, qualitative rigor). The MVP focuses on practical outputs: a shared glossary, a one-page methods brief, and a checklist of decisions the team must make before data collection. This is an AI-assisted product, but it stays grounded by citing the source text and flagging uncertainty rather than pretending to be authoritative. It’s built for real workflow: export to Google Docs/Word and track versions.
