MethodMesh
MethodMesh is a web app (with optional browser extension) that helps interdisciplinary researchers discover transferable methods, datasets, and evaluation metrics across domains. Instead of searching by keywords, users search by research intent (e.g., “causal inference with sparse data” or “robust anomaly detection”) and get a curated map of methods, canonical papers, implementation links, and common failure modes. An AI layer summarizes how a method was used in different fields, highlights assumptions, and flags mismatches (e.g., data-generating process, sample size, measurement error). Users can build a “method stack” for a project, export a short methods justification paragraph, and share a living bibliography with collaborators. The product is realistic: it doesn’t promise to replace literature review; it reduces time wasted on irrelevant papers and prevents naive method transfer that reviewers reject.
