MetricMender

MetricMender is a web app (with optional Slack alerts) that monitors your analytics stack for “silent failures”: broken tracking, sudden metric definition changes, pipeline delays, and dashboard inconsistencies. It connects to common sources (GA4, Segment, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Snowflake/BigQuery) and learns normal patterns for key KPIs, event volumes, and freshness. When something drifts, it flags the most likely root cause (e.g., a missing event property after a release, UTM parsing changes, a dbt model failing) and suggests specific checks for engineers and analysts. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional rules/lineage plus anomaly detection and LLM-generated incident summaries. The goal is not “better charts”—it’s preventing teams from making bad decisions based on quietly wrong data, and reducing time wasted in blame-filled debugging loops.
