MetricMinder

MetricMinder is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams integration) that monitors the health of your dashboards themselves, not just the systems they display. It detects broken metrics, silent data gaps, schema changes, duplicated series, and “too-good-to-be-true” flatlines that make teams trust the wrong numbers. You connect common sources (Prometheus, Datadog, CloudWatch, BigQuery, Snowflake) and define expectations like update frequency, acceptable variance, and required dimensions. The app runs continuous checks, scores each dashboard/widget for reliability, and alerts the owner when a metric becomes untrustworthy. It also provides a lightweight “metric contract” registry so teams can document ownership, definitions, and downstream dependencies. This is a traditional app with AI-assisted anomaly explanations (optional) rather than a pure AI product.
