MetricSentry

MetricSentry is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams alerts) that monitors your analytics pipelines and dashboards for silent failures: stale data, sudden metric drops/spikes, schema changes, and tracking outages. You connect common sources (BigQuery, Snowflake, GA4, Segment, Mixpanel) and define “trust rules” per metric (freshness, expected ranges, seasonality-aware thresholds, and dependency checks). When something breaks, it pinpoints likely causes (e.g., upstream table not refreshed, event volume collapsed, new nulls in key fields) and routes an incident to the right owner with a short, actionable summary. This is not another BI tool; it’s a reliability layer for analytics teams that are tired of being surprised in exec meetings. The MVP focuses on a narrow set of connectors and a clean incident timeline so teams can prove value fast without a long implementation.
